Transitional Travel will be a travel team without the high costs and full commitment of other travel teams. Transitional Travel will allow the players to play at a higher level and still be a kid. Travel Team Try Outs for Fall 2017 – 2018

STER FC Orange U10 Boys (travel team, NCSL) will be holding try outs to find a few more players for the new season.  The team practices on Tuesday 5:30 – 7:00 pm and Thursdays 7:00 – 8:30 pm at Hencken field 10.  If you would like to try out please contact Coach Scott Mann

STER Elite Orange U12 Boys (travel team, NCSL) will be holding try outs this spring during their practices, Monday and Wednesday 7:00 – 8:30 pm at Hencken field 5B.  Try outs are on going, please contact Coach Kareem Sheeta for more information.

STER Elite Black U12 Boys (travel team, NCSL) will be holding try outs this spring during their practices, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00 – 8:30 pm at Hencken field 10B.  Try outs are on going, please contact Coach Dimitar for more information.

Sterling FC Elite ’02 Black Lightning (travel team, NCSL) will be holding tryouts during normal training sessions in May.  Training is conducted twice weekly by ODP Coach Jose Venegas.  We compete in Division 1 of NCSL, and annually play in top tournaments like the Bethesda Premier, WAGS Rael Vodicka, and many others.  We are looking for a few select players to join our ’02 team.  Please contact Coach Jay Asher at, or 703-659-7823 to learn more.

STER FC Elite Blackhawks ’01 (travel team, NCSL) are an elite boys travel soccer team consisting of players born in 2001, 2002, and 2003 mostly from northeastern Loudoun County, VA. The Blackhawks currently play for the Sterling Youth Soccer Association of Sterling, VA and compete in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL).

Beginning in NCSL Division 8 just 3 years ago, the Blackhawks rapidly moved through the NCSL division ranks. In the Fall of 2015, the Blackhawks finished 1st in NCSL U14 Div 3 and in the Spring of 2016, they finished 1st in NCSL U14 Division 2. They plan to compete in NCSL U16 Division 1 in the Fall of 2016.

The Blackhawks compete largely in Region 1 travel tournaments. Most recently they finished 1st in the PA Classics Mid-Atlantic Cup U14 Elite Flight (June 2016) in Lancaster, PA and 2nd in the Virginian Elite Soccer Tournament U14 Premier Gold Flight (May 2016) in Fairfax, VA.

Coached by Tofor Wright and Eduardo Sanchez, the Blackhawks practice Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights on a mixture of turf and grass fields and play most regular season games on Sundays throughout the DC Metro area.
