Sterling Freedom

The Sterling Freedom was formed by the Sterling Youth Soccer Association (SYSA) in the Fall of 2004.  The team is built on the principles of education and development.  The players are provided a safe and secure environment to both learn and teach each other about many of the communication and relationship skills that will be part of their lives.  The Freedom was created to help develop player’s skills and awareness in order to better prepare them for High School soccer.  Players of all levels are welcome to try-out.  Eligible players are those players entering 9th grade in the Fall through 12th grade or age eligible according to ODSL age guidelines.

The team plays in the Old Dominion Soccer League and has been very competitive during its first two years.  The team relays on its upper classman and experienced players to provide the leadership and poise that has established the team’s reputation as a tough completive squad.

Anyone interested in learning about the Freedom should contact Steve or Kat DeLong at  703-450-5570 , respectively.  Or e-mail the DeLong's delong899@aol.com
